About the Section of Aesthetics
Uppsala University has the national responsibility for scholarship and teaching in Aesthetics, a duty ordained by the Swedish government. Together with the Faculty of Philosophy at Oxford University, the Section of Aesthetics at the Department of Philosophy in Uppsala is also the home of the British Journal of Aesthetics.
